T-shirt decoration

If you have a black cotton scoopneck shirt.
bay a pleated trim
you'll need:
1 3/4 yards of black pleated trim
a plain black shirt
black thread
pins
scissors

after playing around with the trim with different designs:

Directions:

1. put the shirt on first.  (i tried pinning the ruffles first and then tried it on but my chest stretched the fabric and the design was no longer the same.)
2. as you make the trim pattern, pin it as you go.  play around with
different designs as you please.
3. sew right in the middle of the trim onto the shirt.  there should already
be stitches there, just sew over it. sew it the right side so you can see the trim as you sew.

Sweater decoration!

If you have some old things that you don't were them anymore like:
-sweater

- a cardigan

and a sweater dress

You can folow the steps and make a fancy sweater.

1. the bottom part of the dress is ribbed and and the top part is plain
so i cut about eight of 8"x5.5" rectangles from both fabrics, totaling 16 rectangles.

2. to make the ruffles, use stitch length 5 and sew it across the length,
then pull one strong to cause the ruffle effect.

3. it should look like this

4. start from the bottom and put one rectangle on top
of the cardigan horizontally. then sew it across.

5. place another rectangle above the previous rectangle,
just high enough to cover the seams.

6. also,you should
sew some rectangles, and fold down the top part
so the stripes won't be all exactly the same width apart like the anthro one
but some are same widths and some are closer together.
